ORLANDO, FL, May 08, 2014 (Marketwired via COMTEX) — Information Architects (otc pink:IACH) (pinksheets:IACH) today announced that Joseph Jackson, longtime talent manager and father of Michael Jackson, is joining the company’s board of directors. “Mr. Jackson brings to Information Architects a wealth of talent and insight in the entertainment industry. Additionally, the value of the contacts and connections that Mr. Jackson will be introducing to the company is immense beyond compare,” stated William Craig, acting CEO of IACH.
Mr. Jackson’s accomplishments include managing his son’s band, The Jackson 5, and taking them from an unknown group in Gary, Indiana, to landing them record deals with Steeltown Records, Motown and CBS Records. Their first album scored four consecutive number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100, and the group became an international sensation with many platinum selling albums.
Mr. Jackson also launched the careers of his daughters Latoya and Janet, with Janet finding worldwide success starting in 1983 with her first self-titled album released on A&M Records. Mr. Jackson’s management career spans over four decades and two of his children, Michael and Janet, whose careers he launched, went on to become two of the biggest superstars in music history.
“The addition of Mr. Jackson brings synergies of the entertainment elements to the planning and developing of our planned amusement parks to create a total life experience for the many families anticipated to visit. With the previously announced acquisition of The Dakota Creative Group for the development of theme parks, the addition of a high level consultant to spearhead land acquisition, as well as the addition of an industry veteran as creative director, we feel we are well on our way in developing Information Architects into a premier organization,” commented Steve Adelstein, President of Mergers and Acquisitions.
